Dear friends of latin American music and culture!

Again we have some good news for you. This time f.e. we are presenting 3 x so-called CD&DVD. One more try of the music-industries to increase sales of CDs. It’s fine with us, we are curious of the results ;)


1.1. BEBO VALDES - BEBO DE CUBA (2CD&DVD)
Indeed this is a double CD and the first disc was produced in Cuba and the second one in New York.
The cuban one is introducing Bebos’ BigBand-arrangements and the second one is more mellow and concentrating on ballads played by a small orchestra.
In addition to that the DVD (NTSC) is showing a concert of BEBO VALDES in New York City.)
Together with a very detailed booklet this is a fine present-box including 2 CDs, 1 DVD and the comprehensive booklet.

As a special “thank you” to his fans, Ismael Miranda is releasing this very unique Duet-CD.
With f.e. GILBERTO SANTA ROSA, TITO NIEVES, DOMINGO QUINONES, ANDY MONTANEZ we herewith get marvelous Salsa. Not only to dance but also to dream to.
The included DVD enables you to take a look “behind the scenes” with Studio-Takes and Interviews.

In the 80’s Miguel Bose was very successful in the USA, but Europe hardly noticed nothing about it. This unfortunately will not change by releasing this CD, but we nevertheless will give the opportunity to everybody looking for fine arranged spanish Pop-music, to discover MIGUEL BOSE.

2.1. ADRIANA VARELA - VIVO
La gran Tanguera Adriana Varela is in the spot again, especially since her co-operation with the BAJOFONDO TANGOCLUB.
With this LIVE-CD she proves very well here position on top of the tango-scene.
She performs songs of f.e. Carlos Gardel, Roberto Grela and Jaime Roos with here perfect trio-backing band (Piano, Bandoneon & Guitar). The last title of this CD is a videoclip!

2.2. MIGUEL VILLASBOAS - 20 GRANDES EXITOS
“LA CUMPARSITA” interpreted by Villasboas is for sure one of the most demanded songs.
Finally we now detected it on this compilation, that furthermore is compeleted by classic-tunes like “Una Noche Garufa”, “El Monito” and “Desde El Alma”.

2.3. QUADRO NUEVO - LIVE (DVD)
For a long time this Munich quartet is refreshing the tango-scene with it’s european, sometimes oriental and very often jazzy kind of tango. After the very successful CD “MOCCA FLOR”

Their show at the 35. jazzfestival in Burghausen, the trip to Italy, a TV-documentary and finally the video to “Mocca Flor” should not only be interesting for tango-aficionados.
