Und immer wieder sind es die Details, die faszinieren.
Musik, die vielleicht im ersten Moment nicht aufdringlich und schrill daherkommt, offenbart beim genaueren Zuhören und vor allem beim Tanzen Qualitäten, die begeistern.
Schon nur, wie Carlos Lebrón den ersten Schlag der Campana setzt, ist einfach der Hammer, oder die Phrasierung und Intonation des Piano, oder der fokussierte, enge Strahl der Bläser, oder, oder...
Interessant auch der Verlauf der Musik auf der CD: Die Stimmung wird immer ruhiger, schwerer, melancholischer. Einzig der Song «Dulzura» (ein alter Lebrón-Klassiker) rüttelt kurzfristig auf. Zu später Stunde gespielt, mutiert das Ganze zu sehr infektiösem Stoff.
Die abgeklärte, stilsichere Musik der Lebron-Gebrüder beglückt die Leute auch beim Tanzen, der grosse Atem und der jederzeit spürbare Son der Songs lässt die Tanzenden schwelgen und jeglichen Stress vergessen.
«40 Aniversario» von Los Hermanos Lebrón ist Esencia, d.h. konzentriert, auf das Wesentliche reduziert und ...berührend.
