Die in Brooklyn lebenden Puertoricaner feiern mit diesem Album ihr Jubiläum. Damit blicken sie wie La Sonora Poncena und El Grand Combo auf ein langes Bestehen zurück. Luisito Ayala, Leadsänger bei Grupo Caribes "Ritmo Nativo", ist in sieben von insgesamt zwölf Titeln zu hören und gibt hier sein Bestes. Während die erste Hälfte des Albums aktuelle Studioaufnahmen sind (ein Latin Soul und eine Cumbia sind auch dabei), wurde die zweite Hälfte anlässlich des Jubiläums in Cali / Kolumbien live aufgenommen. Hier lassen sich die Lebron Brothers von einem Ayala im Sonerostil feiern und bringen ihre Hits aus früheren Jahren noch mal in neuem Glanz.
Die Live-Aufnahmen haben Studioqualität und sind allesamt für die Salsathek wie geschaffen. Für alle Tanzbegeisterten sind hier die Titel "Disco Bailable / Salsa Y Control" (fast 9 Minuten!) und "Mi Morena" besonders hervorzuheben. Der letzte Titel "Sin Negro No Hay Guaguanco" überzeugt dann auch die Letzten davon, daß die Brüder Angel, Carlos, Frankie und Jose trotz ihrer grauen Haare weltklasse Salsadura aus ihren Instrumenten zaubern können. Auch die Studioaufnahmen, wie "Que Pena - La Contestacion", bei dem Corine Lebron singt, sind einfach schön und machen dem Lebronrhythmus keinen Abbruch, im Gegenteil! Ein Album mit supertanzbaren Titeln, besonders empfehlenswert!
