The aspect to dance Tango in the country where it comes from is already a good reason for treating yourself with this very special journey.
And Tango is much more than a dance. To learn how to dance Tango signifies to find out how to enjoy life, everyday-routine and relationship. Dedication to the partner and trusting him without losing one's centre, doesn't really sound like Tango dancing... but rather like "how to live in a happy relationship"... being sensual, breathing into your stomach deeply, the desire to celebrate, to expand, without focus or restraint... the high art of Tango...
To reach a point, to be there, consciously, open, close to yourself... To feel the energy circle of the heart, the bond, the link between me and my partner, this sounds like real life... and this is Tango.

| Ivano Bertazzo Ivano Bertazzo was lead to Tango by his theatre work. He toured with various groups through Italy and France between 1979 and 1983. Since 1998, Ivano has danced Tango in Hamburg. Gustavo Naveira and Sergio Molini were two of his teachers. Since 2001, he has developed and taught a dance technique, which is never detached from the personal feelings. |

Ivano Bertazzo will be your teacher in Buenos Aires. He is a very sensitive and methodically excellent tango instructor who will make you familiar with the different elements of the dance in a playful way. In small groups of participants of various dance levels, you will enhance your previous knowledge, and maybe look at it and experience it from a different perspective. Ivano Bertazzo belongs to a small avant-garde of tango teachers who estimate the sensual aspect of tango as high as the technical one. Everybody who has taken classes with him knows that this is a quality difficult to encounter with many tango teachers - to empathise with the student and to advise him where the personal limits of expressions are and how they can be trespassed in a careful and consequent way.
We live and dance for two weeks in a special guest house, which receives its right to exist through Tango. Tangueros come and go and the atmosphere itself is Tango.
Our day will start at 9am with physical exercises, which concentrate on the litheness and flexibilty important for dancing. Yoga and breathing exercises help to find one's centre.
The actual Tango classes start after breakfast. Depending on the previous knowledge of the participants the small groups will form, in which the personal technical Tango potential can unfold.

In the afternoon, you can recover from the training enjoying a sensual-relaxing massage which refreshes you for the evening, or you can take private classes in attentiveness training and body consciousness with Susanna and Matthias.
The daily programme is multi-faceted. The programme with its instructional units described so far forms a part of the day and lasts until the early afternoon. Afterwards, there is time to discover the Argentinian capital, which is interesting indeed, on your own or in a small group. Of course, we can help with recommendations according to your personal desires and interests.
Buenos Aires offers a lot of possibilities for dancing. The range goes from traditional locations to cultural centres and underground locations in old factories. The dance events are called like one Tango genre itself, namely "Milongas". You will get to know some of these locations...
And, of course, there is room for a supporting programme. Thus, a sightseing tour giving you a first impression of Buenos Aires, is part of the programme as well as a day trip to the Tigre delta, the broad river delta to the north of Buenos Aires.
It is not important whether you have any previous knowledge or not, because we consider the different levels. Your love and desire for Tango dancing is the most important requirement!

Please read the following details attentively, because they include more information on the journey:
- The accommodation during this group journey is in double rooms or three bed rooms.
- Shared bookings of three persons who share a triple room (with one double bed and one single bed) receive a price of 999.- Euro per person.
- The price for single bookings and accommodation in a double room or three bed room is 1249.- Euro.
- For couples booking together and choosing a room with a double bed we offer a price of 1149.- Euro per person.
- The price for a room used by one person is 1749.- Euro.
- The city tour is in English.
- Expenses for transport tickets and Milonga entrance fees are not included in the price.
- Your travel management speaks English, German, Spanish, Italian and a little bit of French. The main language for the course is German and Italian.
- The programme offered can be booked without prior Tango knowledge. But please inform us about your possible dance background.
- For bookings and enquiries, please use our form.
- We confirm your application by email. You receive a written travel confirmation/invoice by mail or as a pdf-document by email after all the services included are confirmed . Deviating from our General Terms, the deposit for this journey is 250.- Euro per person. The rest of the price has to be paid at the latest 30 days prior to departure. In case of a cancellation until 30 days before the start of the journey, 250.- Euro are to be paid, 15-29 days before the start of the journey 50% of the travel price. Please compare the information given in our General Terms for cancellations of 14 days or less before the start of the journey. If you don't live in the EU and the payment is made by credit card, we will charge your credit card account with the corresponding amounts.
- You can take out a travel cancellation insurance policy or other travel insurance policies up to 14 days after having received your booking confirmation. This is easily done by internet. You only have to click here.
- If your arrival or departure dates should vary due to flight schedules, or if you simply wish to arrive earlier or to stay longer, we calculate the extra nights/ services.
- If you have some time, we recommend to spend some days in the country. Information on tours to the waterfalls of Iguazu, to Salta or Patagonia here.
- Minimum number of participants: 6. In case of less bookings, we will offer you in any case an alternative programme with the emphasis "Tango".
