The Afro-Cuban dances deal with the African roots of the dance and the music. You get to know the gods of the Santeria and the movements characteristics which determine the different dances. You can put an emphasis on for example contradanza, danzón, son, mambo, cha cha cha, casino, congas y comparsas or bailes campesinos during the folklore course.

The guidance of your professional Cuban teachers during class make you get a taste of the special quality of these dances. If you are a professional dancer yourself or if you teach dancing, you will get to know a lot of new elements of Afro-Cuban dances, which will upgrade your own repertoire. The classes are intensive, and the teachers arrange your classes according to your personal dance level.
