    The salsa group travel to Cuba in autumn 2008
including the participation in the 3rd international meeting for salsa and casino "Baila en Cuba" from 15/11/08 - 29/11/08 in Havana

You can expect two intensive dance weeks in Havana! This group travel shows you the different faces of an extraordinary Caribbean city. Stay for one week in the Old Town in a carefully selected Cuban private accommodation. Live luxuriously during the second week of your journey in the modern part of Havana at the 5*-Hotel Melia Habana, located directly on the waterfront

Dance for two weeks! During the first week with the dance school of "Danza y Movimiento". Together with hundreds of salseros und salseras from all over the world at the festival "Baila en Cuba" during the second week.

A unique opportunity to closely experience two weeks of salsa in different settings!

On Sunday 16th we show you the historic part of the city. We take you to the beach to relax. Five live music concerts are part of the programme. We show you the most famous salsa bands of the island.

You are picked up personally at the international airport of Havana and you are taken to your place of accommodation. Right on the first day of your stay we show you the old part of Havana on a guided walk. After having lunch together, we take you to the Sunday cultural meeting at the legendary Calle Hammel.

The first week of your stay gives you the chance to practise with your personal Cuban dance partner in order to acquire first steps or to improve your dance knowledge. Most of the dance partners are professional Cuban dancers, who got their dance experience with dance shows (for example "Lady Salsa") throughout the world. On Saturday, we all go to the beaches Playas del Este, which are situated close to Havana. A day for relaxing on the beach under palmtrees.

On Sunday, you move from the centre of Havana to the suburb of Miramar, which is about a 15 min. drive. There, you will stay at the Hotel Melia Habana with the other participants of the festival. The workshops also take place there. There is a shuttle service to the concerts taking place at other locations in the evenings. At some stage on Sunday, you can pick up your full pass for the International Salsa Meeting. Join the big gala dinner and the party in the evening and watch the diverse spectrum of Cuban dances at the different shows.

During the second week you may simply dance and keep dancing with Salseros and Salseras from Cuba and all over the world all day and all night long. You can participate in the course programme in the mornings as well as in the afternoons, according to your dance level. There are classes of Salsa, Casino, Rueda de Casino, Afrocuban, Son und Cha Cha Chá. .

On five evenings, starting at 9pm, you can show what you have learned in class and have fun. The best Cuban live bands perform at the concerts. Dance with Los Van Van, Adalberto Alvárez y su son, la Charanga Habanera, Paulito FG, NG La Banda, Manolito Simonet y su Trabuco, Pachito Alonso y sus Kini Kini, Yumuri y sus Hermanos, Leonel Limonta y Azúcar Negra, Anacaona, Pupi y los que Son Son and Elito Revé!! (You will hardly get this selection in such a concentration again. So book soon and make sure that you will be part of the event!)

You can also choose Spanish classes, percussion classes or additional dance classes during the first week.

The following information is also important travel planning:

• Single room supplement 250.- Euro.
• On request, we can also arrange personal and exclusive dance partners for the course programme during the Salsa Festival in cooperation with the festival management. The extra charge is 100.- Euro when booking with the other travel services. (If you book this service afterwards and separately it is 35 Euro more expensive.)
• Flights: Individual and not included in the price
• The guided walk through the old part of Havana is in German or English. You can also get an interpreter for other languages for an extra charge of 15 Euro.
• Please use our special form for bookings and queries.
• We will confirm your application by e-mail. You will then receive a written confirmation of your booking/ invoice by mail or pdf document attachment. Please do only pay a deposit of 10% of the travel price and transfer the remaining amount of the tour price at the latest 30 days before starting the journey. We can also charge your credit card account with the corresponding payment values.
• You can take out a travel cancellation insurance policy or other travel insurance policies up to 14 days after having received your booking confirmation. This is easily done by internet. You only have to click here.
• If your arrival or departure dates should vary due to flight schedules, or if you simply wish to arrive earlier or to stay longer, we calculate the extra nights separately.
• The services indicated with a * are part of the programme of the International Salsa Meeting, which is completely organized by a local management. We do not have any influence on changes or modifications of this programme. Modifications or even a cancellation from the organizer's side is no reason for a withdrawal from the journey as long as we can offer you a substitute programme for the corresponding days according to the bounds of our possibilities.

• If you combine this offer with an additional course of Movimiento, Spanish, Percussion or Drums, you will only be charged an extra price of 150.- Euro for the additional 5-day course!
