Azúcarrrrr? finalmente, llegó el disco
nuevo de la reina de la salsa!
Glutrote Robe , hellblonde Perücke, extravagant und schrill, so präsentiert sich Celia auf dem Coverfoto.
Musikalisch definiert, weniger schrill, sondern mit der Creme de la creme:
Johnny Pacheco; Víctor Daniel; Sergio George; Papo Lucca; Bobby Valentín; Isidro Infante; Ozzie Meléndez und Marc Quiñones um nur einige zu nennen.
Der Titelsong und Opener "La negra tiene tumbao" ein gelungenes Experiment, mit Instrumenten bzw. Produktionstechniken der digitalen Gegenwart, vom Altmeister
Sergio George (Arrangeur & Produzent u.a. von DLG) am Piano und Mikey Perfecto "Rap"
Pa? arriva no? va: da steigert sich das Tempo, Celia?s Temperament aber auch meine Erwartungen, wie sich das Album weiterhin entwickeln wird.
Hay que empezar otra vez: ist die erste Single, erinnert an "La vida es un carnaval" und ich war sprachlos über die überwältigenden Reaktionen auf den Tanzflächen.
Tararea kumbayea: mit Papo Lucca & Johnny Pacheco.
Corazón de rumba: das Intro erinnert an ihren Hit von 1993 "Azúcar negra" pero más caliente!
Déjame vivir : un son suave.
Qué culpa tengo yo : da schlägt der Puls bzw. der Beatcounter wieder viel höher. Güiro y clave hört man besonders deutlich, aber auch Sir Georges unverwechselbares Piano.
Mi mercancía: guaracha-son
Taita bilongo: un guaguancó
Sin clave no hay son: der Titel kündigt es eigentlich schon an. Man wird ihn sicherlich in vielen DJ Charts wiederfinden.
Ein Resümee zu dieser "OBRA MAESTRA" halte ich für überflüssig!
