Grupo Caribe braucht genau 1 Minute und 20 Sekunden, um alles klar zu machen.
Wie auf der Achterbahn, wenn der Wagen fast oben angekommen ist und man bereits erahnen kann, dass es nun losgeht, genau so zieht der erste Titel bei 1:20 an und dann rauscht es.
Der Rest ist schnell erzählt. «Somos Caribeños» ist eine der raren Top-Produktionen, denen man nicht widerstehen kann.
Alles ist so leicht und doch so intensiv, die Songs haben extrem Sabor und bestechen allesamt durch ein betörendes Timing.
Der absolute Höhepunkt für mich: Der Titelsong «Somos Caribeños» Der «Sabor»-Ausruf von Sänger Luisito Ayala bei 3:48, der unerwarteten Harmoniewechsel und die einsetztende Saxofon-Sektion blasen die letzten Zweifel weg.
