“The Argentine Duo” heißt ein neues Album mit Tango-Musik von Shawneci Icecold und Gabriel Rivano. Die sieben Tango-Stücke werden nur mit Klavier und Bandoneon gespielt und sind oberflächlich gehört in einem eher klassischem Tango-Stil gehalten.

Wenn man genauer hinhört, entdeckt man jedoch manche modernde Elemente. Das wechselt sogar von Titel zu Titel und so gibt es klassischere Tango-Stücke und modernere Tango-Stücke. Tango-Lieder kann man ja nicht sagen, es wird schließlich nicht gesungen…

Nicht alle Stücke auf dem Tango-Album “The Argentine Duo” laden in gleicher Weise zum Tanzen ein. Einige sind mehr zum Hören und Sinnieren geeignet, als dass das Tanzbein zuckt.

Letztlich ist es auch nicht wichtig, wie man die Stücke einordnet. Es ging mir nur darum, Ihnen und Euch einen ersten Hör-Eindruck zu vermitteln, in welche Richtung es musikalisch geht auf dem Tango-Album “The Argentine Duo” von Shawneci Icecold und Gabriel Rivano.
