Interessant. Mal etwas Anderes. Leider sind die zahlreichen Valses dieser CD viel zu langsam zum Tanzen, müssen also entsprechend mit professionellen Tools wie Ableton Live beschleunigt werden. Die Milongas sind wunderschön. Der beste Beweis, dass interessanter Tango aus nordischen Ländern wie Norwegen durchaus Realität ist.

Die norwegische Band legt hier eine CD vor, die nicht nach typischem Tango klingt. Der Grund ist nicht nur eine etwas andere Instrumentierung, sondern auch sehr viele musikalische Ideen in der Musik. Die Stücke sind zart und ruhig-gelassen. Das heißt nun nicht, daß z. B. die Milongas zu langsam wären, aber die musikalischen Gedanken verweben sich so, daß der unterliegende Milongarhythmus fast nebensächlich werden kann.
Sehr schön zum späten Abend für eine sanfte Tanda, aber auch zum Anhören gut geeignet. Alles in allem eine Bereicherung der Tango-Sammlung.
Und noch eins: Die Valses sind nicht zu langsam zum Tanzen, es sind halt keine Wiener Walzer und Valses kann man durchaus auch so auskosten.
