Puerto Rican Power orchestra was founded at the beginning of the 70s, by Jesus "Chy" Castro. In 1978, Luisito Ayala acquired the orchestras rights, becoming then its director and trumpet player. For more than 30 years, Puerto Rican Power has performed for and with Fanias stars such as Ismael Miranda, Cheo Feliciano, Celia Cruz and Hector Lavoe. Also, singers as Tito Rojas, Osvaldo Roman, Joselo Gerena, Luisito Ayala Jr. and others, were part or the ensemble.
