Die erste Besprechung im neuen Jahr betrifft eigentlich altes Musikmaterial von Elio Revé Duverger und Elio Revé Matos.
Anlass für die vorliegende CD ist das 50-jährige Bestehen des Orquesta Revé aus Kuba.
Erwähnen möchte ich die CD aber gleichwohl und zwar aus folgenden zwei Gründen:
1. Die alten Stücke tönen einfach immer noch frisch und kräftig, und obwohl zum Teil sehr schnell, machen sie unheimlich Spass beim Tanzen.
2. Der erste Track «Fresquesito» ist wirklich neu eingespielt und dieser Song alleine lohnt eigentlich bereits die Anschaffung. Ein absoluter Abräumer, der nicht nur Kuba-Fans begeistert.

Wer noch keine oder wenige CDs von Revé hat, gerne zu kubanischer Musik tanzt, wissen will, wie guter Changüi tönt und dazu noch einen neuen Megahit erwerben möchte, dem sei diese CD wärmstens empfohlen.
