A laudable attempt this - courageously experimenting with new harmonies, different styles and rythms. Sadly, the recorded voice of Sonnica Yepes completely lacks the substance to sustain the dissonances both in rythm and tune that the ensemble uses so liberally. The overall experience therefore ends up on the painful side. It might be that these folks have to be experienced life to be appreciated - as for this CD, buy at your own peril.
