Orlando Valle, besser bekannt als Maraca meldet sich, nach seinem erfolgreichen Vorgänger ?Descarga Total, zurück mit einer neuen Produktion. 12 Songs der Spitzenklasse der musica cubana!



Abwechslungsreich, temperamentvoll, sehr wenig harte Timbabeats und dadurch bestens tanzbar.
Die moderne Salsa cubana wird automatisch bzw. unberechtigt immer nur in die jazzig-agressive ?Timba Schublade? gesteckt oder als ?Buena Vista Social Club? Plagiat abgestempelt.



Bei Maraca kann man ohne bedenken zugreifen, denn wer spontan und aus dem Gefühl heraus tanzt und nicht nur auf einstudierte Showtanz Techniken fixiert ist und auch keine all zu glatte Salsa plastica bevorzugt, sondern tiefgründige handgemachte Musik liebt, wird dieses Album mögen. Neben den Songs für die Tanzfläche gibt es auch traditionelle ?Carnavalrhythmen? zu hören.
