Alberto Hugo Polese
Musician and composer.
Born on July 11, 1961 in Buenos Aires (Argentina). He began his musical career at the National Conservatory in his home city, where he studied the flute. In addition to his classical studies, he was interested in various musical projects in which he participated as a singer and flautist.
Polese has lived in Italy since 1987. On the old continent, he continued his collaboration with artists and projects in various musical styles and genres. He began playing the trumpet in 1995.
As a singer and trumpeter, he participates in tango ensembles, including his own project called "La orquesta minima" in 1998, in which famous classics arranged by the composer can be heard, as well as Polese's own compositions entitled "Tango surrealista" by the same group.
Polese has composed musical accompaniments for silent films, cartoons and documentaries. He is also involved in the didactic environment of various social institutions, including the founding of an orchestra laboratory for the disabled.
His albums Tango (Orquesta Caminito 2011), Seicinque (Zzolchestra con Alberto Polese 2009), Vamos a regresar (Alberto Polese Trio 2001), Lulabù (Alberto Polese 2004), Requiem op.17 (Alberto Polese 2007) and Sentinella (Zzolchestra 2015) are available worldwide through the distribution of "Danza y Movimiento" (Viamas GmbH). More than 40 of his works are published by the music publisher "Ediciones La Palmera".
