The label World Circuit became famous with its album of the "Buena Vista Social Club". Nick Gold and his team, thus, were mainly responsible for the world wide boom for Cuban music. And people are still fascinated with the rhythms of the Caribbean island. This brandnew CD is a little gem: the CD of the charismatic Son veteran Ibrahim Ferrer. The selection of the titles - as usual - ist excellent, the sound perfect, and the booklet nicely done including song lyrics and expressive pictures.
